Polly The Pirate Witch

OK...A sneak peek at the first of this year's Stitch-a-Little Witchie Sisters. Oooh, she's a gaudy girl. This is, of course, Polly The Pirate Witch with her friend...Mmm...What should I call him? Pete? Ahhh...Alliteration...How I love thee. Maybe a little too much sometimes. So, I'm working on Polly's sisters Fauna The Fairy Witch and Trixie The Halloween Witch. They should all be available in June. Back to work...

Sally Stitch Witch

Here's a sneak peek of Sally Stitch Witch. She will be available in the Halloween ornament edition of "Just Cross Stitch" magazine. Don't know the exact date when it will come out but it should be in the next couple of months. She was really fun to design. I used some of Kreinik's 1/8" Metallic Ribbon this time. She's stitched with DMC floss, Mill Hill seed beads and Kreinik #8 Fine Metallic Braids on Metallic Silver 14 count perforated paper. Her hat, hoop and scissors are stitched separately and then tacked on to create a dimensional look...and yes, that is a real needles she's holding.
